A highlight of that period of her career that she is especially proud of was receiving a star blanket from SIGA for her work with Indigenous youth.
During her time in Prince Albert Allyson also worked part time as an instructor in the Food and Beverage Service program at Saskatchewan Polytechnic. In Prince Albert she was a Big for Big Brothers and Big Sisters. She also worked with children with Saskatchewan's Mental Health. This is about the same time she became a member of the Prince Albert Optimist Club. TESTIMONIALS
What People are Saying
"I am pleased to offer my wholehearted recommendation for Allyson Toye of Meaningful Fundraising and Events. Allyson took over as the lead organizer for the 2025 Sylvan Lake Chamber of Commerce Golf Tournament, and her contributions played a critical role in the event's overwhelming success.
With limited lead time, Allyson stepped in and took full ownership of the planning and execution process. From sponsor relations and logistics to creative direction and day-of coordination, she managed every aspect with professionalism, clarity, and enthusiasm. Despite the challenges that come with planning a large-scale event on a tight schedule, Allyson exceeded all expectations, delivering a polished and engaging tournament that surpassed our fundraising goals.
What stood out most was Allyson's exceptional organization and communication. She thought through every fine detail, from creating a thorough volunteer playbook to ensuring signage was perfectly arranged. It was so evident that the Golf Course itself complemented her organization. Her preparation not only elevated the quality of the event but also gave everyone involved the confidence that things were under control.
We are incredibly grateful for her leadership and expertise, and we are excited to announce that we have already hired her to coordinate the 2025 Jeans and Jewels Business Awards. If you are looking for a dependable, creative, and results-driven event professional, Allyson Toye and Meaningful Fundraising and Events should be your first call."
